Respectable sites like Absolute Poker are checked by independent random number testers. They have no incentive to cheat players. Why would they cheat? Many people claim "they want to take money from good players and give it to bad players, and then they make more rake." Sure, in some casino games, especially poker skill plays a role over the long run but a really lucky novice player can topple any pro.
