2012 World Series of Poker on ESPN
ESPN will provide coverage of the 2012 World Series of Poker highlighted
by their nearly live coverage of the Main Event final table. Here
is a look at the action that ESPN will be showing.
Big One for One Drop
The biggest buy-in tournament in poker history will be covered by
ESPN. The entry fee is $1 million dollars and the tournament will
be broadcast by ESPN on July 3rd with just a 15 minute delay and
also re-aired with an edited broadcast on July 31st.
Main Event
ESPN will provide nearly live coverage of the main event final table
on October 30th with the 15 minute delay in place. ESPN will have
their normal coverage of the main event starting on August 14th
and leading up to the final table on October 30th. They will also
be covering other events in the 2012 World Series of Poker including
the WSOP National Championship.
ESPN
Tuesday nights will be the night for World Series of Poker action
on ESPN each week. Lon McEachern, Norman Chad and Kara Scott will
be covering the action. ESPN will start with The Big One for One
Drop on July 3rd, rebroadcast it on July 31st and then go weekly
starting on August 7th. The WSOP National Championship is set for
broadcast on August 7th and Main Event coverage starts on August
14th and continues each week, concluding on October 30th with nearly
live coverage of the final table.
